Meet Guadalupe (Lulu) Clark
Licensed Aesthetician, LMT/Holistic Healer, and Sound Therapy Practitioner
Guadalupe Clark, who goes by her nickname Lulu, has been a licensed aesthetician since 2002 and a licensed massage therapist since 2014. She completed her aesthetics training at the National Aesthetics Institute in Scottsdale in 2002; this is when/where she was introduced to Hylunia Skincare and Ayurveda during her studies which sparked a lifelong passion for the ancient Indian healing science, which continues to influence her practice today.
Lulu began her career in the resort spa industry, starting as a spa receptionist and group coordinator at the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort. She later became an aesthetician at Spa Terre at the Caleo Resort, which evolved into the Jurlique Spa at Firesky Resort (now The Scott). During this time, she fell in love with Jurlique’s transformative skincare, particularly its rose-based formulations known for enhancing beauty and uplifting the spirit.
Building on her passion for holistic healing, Lulu earned an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Holistic Healthcare with a concentration in Transformational Psychology from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) (2010-2014). She also completed certifications in yoga teacher training, yoga nidra facilitation, massage therapy, and took courses including, but not limited to Ayurvedic principles and therapies such as Marma point therapy, Shirodhara, and Polarity Therapy.
Continuing her Ayurvedic journey, Lulu completed the first part of the Ayurvedic Health Counselor program at the California College of Ayurveda in 2017. In 2021, she deepened her knowledge through certifications in Abhyanga massage, Shirodhara therapy, and Svedna steam therapy at CCA. Most recently, she completed Marma point therapy training through AyurPrana and was drawn to sound healing, completing Biosonic Sound Healing training with Dr. John Beaulieu and Acoustic Massage with Danielle Fuselier of Red Rock Healing Center.
With over two decades of experience spanning resorts, salons, wellness centers, and boutique spas, Lulu founded her own practice, Tranquil Butterfly Spa, in 2021. Her mission is to provide holistic, transformative care to her clients, combining her extensive knowledge of aesthetics, Ayurveda, and sound healing.
Lulu is deeply grateful for the support of her husband and two children, who inspire her daily. She enjoys hiking with her family, finding that time in nature fosters connection, grounding, and healing. She is excited to move her practice to the Live Well Training Center, where she looks forward to serving the community in a space filled with love and support.
